Fancy Popping Some Prosecco With Your Pup?

This July 22nd, 2017 was a game changer for pampering your pup! A new dedicated dog spa and shop has opened in Roborough, Plymouth and we’re sure that you’ll be dying to get yourselves down there as soon as poss.

The brain wave of Emma Smith, Mad About Paws, is the haven for your pet that you never knew they needed! Owners can drop their dogs off at the store to experience the finest pampering known to man, as well as to let them dive into some treats that you would usually deny them.

The shop follows the success of its sister store, The Pet Express, who saw an increase in dog-related products flying off the shelves. The purpose-built store has room for everything that you could possibly need in terms of accessories, including bandanas, leads and collars. The store also has new arrivals weekly, including rain coats and t-shirts so your dog can always look as fashionable as they deserve to be.

The Devon-based store also has a wide variety of pooch-friendly snacks, including beer, prosecco and cupcakes! All of the ingredients are picked especially, with the in-house team of staff having an extensive knowledge of dog nutrition, so you can feel safe that your dog’s health is in good hands.

In conversation with The Plymouth Herald, Emma said: “I’m passionate about dogs and most of us are – I think it would be hard to find someone who isn’t and I like to see how people are with their dogs. Our favourite, most unique element to the shop has to be our bakery – we get this in fresh every Friday. We have everything from pizzas to waffles, cookies, cupcakes”.

So why not pop by with your pup? With a range of self-service dog baths, you can give them the star treatment yourself or drop them off for the full pampering experience. Open Monday to Saturday from 9:00-8:00 and from 10:00-4:00 on Sundays, it’s definitely worth the visit and your dog will be extremely grateful.
