You Know You’re A Dog Person When…

There are two types of people in this world; people who like dogs and people who are wrong. I’ve combined a few of my favourite things, namely cute dogs and GIF’s, to bring to you the roller coaster of emotions that comes with being a dog person:

It’s practically impossible to walk past a dog without petting it…

You sometimes visit your friend’s house just to have a cuddle with their pup…

You wouldn’t dream of sharing food with anyone else, but it goes without saying that your dog gets half your ice cream…

You miss them more than you miss your family when you go on holiday…

You wish you could FaceTime them while you’re away…

Your dog has priority over your significant other…

You could be having the time of your life in the Maldives but a part of you still can’t to get home and see your barking BFFs…

The face of your dog as you leave them in the morning gives you night terrors…

If anyone says anything mean or nasty to your pup, you make a mental note to not talk to them again #neverforget…

You understand that no one will be as happy to see you as your dog is when you get home at the end of the day…

That awkward wave with fellow dog-walkers…

That feeling when you’re out for a walk and realise you forgot poo bags…

…and you do a sort of discreet poo hockey manoeuvre to try and get in into a nearby hedge…

When you meet a dog after a glass of wine or four…

You will never truly trust a cat person…

You talk about your dog in the same way that others your age talk about their kids…

Your future looks something a bit like this…

When someone says your dog is too ‘licky’…

Your idea of a mad weekend looks a bit like this…

And although your dog might be one sandwich short of a picnic…

And very naughty at times…

…It’s difficult to imagine life without your little fluff ball!

Have I missed any!? Comment your own ‘you know you’re a dog person when…’ along with an appropriate GIF via my social media channels!

Why Don’t Cats Like Dogs? – and Vice Versa

In light of #NationalCatDay, I thought I would investigate the age-old tale of friend and foe and get to the bottom of the love/hate (mainly hate) relationship between cats and dogs. Hungry Labradors and Why We Can All Relate

Labradors are the UK’s most popular dog thanks to their friendly and loyal nature. The fact that they are easy to train also helps and the Andrex puppy is practically a national treasure. However, Labs also have the unfortunate trait of piling on the pounds slightly more than any other dog. While many owners may […]

Dog Caught in Texas Storm Has His Priorities Right…

Hurricane Harvey has wreaked havoc in the state of Texas over the weekend, with torrential rain causing catastrophic floods across the region – with no sign of relenting any time soon.
